Here’s what our patients have to say about the benefits of chiropractic for back and neck pain.
First off, I want to say a great BIG thank you to Dr. Nardi for making my life more bearable. With that said:
I first came to Dr. Nardi on one of those Groupon type coupons that you get to try things out with and you never have to go back if you don't like the service or product. So I made the decision to give Chiropractic a chance.
I made the first appointment not knowing what to expect. I showed up and found Dr. Nardi very warm and welcoming, not like I had pictured; a Dr. Jekyll type lab with all kinds of strange back cracking equipment (per-conceived notion). The room was warm and friendly, I felt at ease with Dr. Nardi's calming, soothing demeanor.
He got to work right away doing the initial scan to see what was going on with my nerves and see how my body was feeling. I got the first adjustment that same day and again, not knowing what to expect, just having heard the stories of cracking and neck wrenching, was pleasantly surprised by how un-scary it really was.
I was somewhat sore the next day and I called Dr. Nardi and expressed my concern and he said it was totally normal. Phew! What a relief, I wasn't going to be paralyzed as all teh new media will have you believe that Chiropractors do! I came in for my second adjustment as part of my coupon and felt even more relieved.
Now it came down to this... Do I continue and get the relief, I need to function or do my needs outweigh the cost? I chose to not continue at that point, I didn't feel that I could spend the extra money on something that may or may not continue to work as far as I was thinking at the time.
Fast forward ahead, stress upon stress compounded, my husband lost his job and I was going through some major anxiety. My neck was beginning to be the only thing that was on my mind. At some points, it was hurting me so much that you could actually see how much discomfort I was in if you looked at my face. I again thought of Dr. Nardi.
It was a hard decision to make the call again. I thought "Will he allow me to come back? Will he be upset that I didn't continue all those months before?" So I pulled it together and made the call. He answered... He was not upset, he welcomed me back and we even came up with a a great payment plan to help me get the care I needed, even though my husband and now I were out of work.
About three weeks into my new care plan, I was like a new person. Dr. Nardi even made a comment that he could tell I was feeling much better, again just reading my face! My neck at this point was no longer bothering me, but I had a new issue, or so I thought....
Years ago, I had two shoulder surgeries and my shoulder was never quite right after those. All of a sudden I was feeling that horrible pain in my shoulder like I had when I first tore it up. I panicked... no job, no insurance, what am I going to do if I had hurt it all over again?
So I approached Dr. Nardi and oddly to me he seemed almost excited that I was feeling this pain. "OK" I thought, let's see where this goes. He proceeded to take out a pamphlet on something called "retracing." Apparently your body experienced this phenomenon when you go through Chiropractic care. It is explained as a re-experience or re-awakening of old pains and other symptoms. I don't know all the science behind it but I put my healing in Dr. Nardi's hands and I was ready to go through what ever I needed to. He told me it wold go away and then clear up, possibly a few times. OK, again, whatever I needed to do.
By the end of the week, my shoulder was not in pain and I was swinging it around like I had not been able to do for 5 years!
Before, I couldn't scratch my own back way up; I couldn't turn my shoulder and throw a ball or even just put my arm up behind my head. Now>>> AMAZING, no neck pain, more movement! I went to Dr. Nardi for my neck originally and came away with something I never could have ever expected. 5 years of pain and limited movement and Dr. Nardi brought me back to life and gave me a re-awakening that things are possible.
I wrote this letter as a thanks to Dr. Nardi and as an awareness to others of his healing practice for any skeptics out there. But also as a letter of sadness, as my husband and I are starting a new chapter in our lives and moving and I won't be able to continue my healing with Dr. Nardi. That in itself scares me. One that I cannot continue with him and two that I may have to start out with someone else, somewhere new. But Dr. Nardi has assured me that he will help me continue on my journey of Chiropractic healing and for that I am truly grateful.
Thank you, Dr. Nardi.

Dear Dr. Nardi, I’m sending you this letter to tell you how often I think of you. I think of you every morning when I wake and rise from my bed, with no pain. I think of you when I sit through a movie or a play with no pain. I think of you when, after a long drive to see my children, I arrive with no pain.I think of you every Wednesday, when I give my patients massages at the hospital, with no pain. I think of you when I sit on the floor with my grandchildren to play games with no pain. You have made the activities of my life so much more enjoyable.

Prior to seeing Dr. Nardi I suffered from back pain for nearly 30 years. I am positively free of pain and no longer take any medication such as anti-inflammatory/muscle relaxant/pain medications.

I lived with lower back pain all of my adult life. Sometimes so bad that I would walk hunched over after getting out of bed…I couldn’t stand in one place very long…I had shooting pains in my legs…I saw improvement almost immediately. Now my recovery time is hours or minutes instead of days. I wake up rested…You and your staff ROCK!

I was in an immense amount of neck and back pain. I also had an infected lymph node under my left ear. After a matter of one month I was starting to not have the pains; even the lymph node went away. A year later, I am beginning to stay better for longer lengths of time and I feel strong enough to exercise again.

After experiencing several years of neck and lower back pain, I was looking for a permanent solution. By Jeez, I think I found it! I can finally lay in bed at night without feeling tired the next morning. I feel well rested and ready to begin my day.

I started getting adjusted after my boyfriend avoided an ER visit by trying chiropractic care with Dr. Nardi. I'm pregnant and had back pain that I hoped would be relieved without Tylenol. Not only was my back better, my boyfriend noticed I stopped whining about headaches. I've had mild and severe headaches daily, maybe weekly, for years and years and they have just gone away since I stared getting adjusted! Ten years ago my dentist said I'd be fine after my impacted wisdom teeth were pulled but no such luck. I've taken a lot of Advil over the last 15 years but now no more Advil for me. Super happy with this office.
