Purity

Purity is important to me.

Although a mixed fruit salad has it’s appeal I prefer the taste of one fruit, an apple, a watermelon slice, or a handful of blueberries.  There’s nothing like a cool sweet slice of watermelon on a hot summer day.  I can see the kids running through the sprinkler as I do.  And I have such warm and fond memories of my own childhood; having watermelon seed fights with my cousins.  We used to see who could spit one the farthest which inevitably ended with us spitting them at each other.  What’s with the seedless watermelons?  Is it me, or are they not as sweet as “the real deal” melons?  They remind me of Chiropractors without spines or adjustments.

Hybrid vehicles make me laugh.  I understand they are environmentally friendly, but when does a truck cease to be a truck?  I’m not waiting for Chevrolet to make a hybrid Corvette or Ford a hybrid Mustang.  I want some old-fashioned “American Muscle” behind those vehicles.  “Did you hear the sound of that hybrid’s engine?”  No, neither did I.  I’ve never heard such a question asked and hope I don’t live to see the day that it get’s asked of the classics.  Classic Chiropractic provides an adjustment so you know you’re doing your own work on yourself.

As a fourth generation Italian-American, I’m so far removed from my Italian heritage, I’m really American now.  To help me get back to my roots, I took Italian as my foreign language in High School because my parents, aunts and uncles don’t speak it any more.    I’ve learned everything I can about my family’s history in order to stay connected.  I was also in awe of my friends and their parents who were “off the boat” because they didn’t need to hyphenate their name… they were still Italian, albeit living in America.  I’m an “old-school” Chiropractor, doing it the way my forefathers did it, in a modern age.

So I go with Chiropractic… I’ll take it straight thank you.  No rocks, no cubes, no crushed ice smoothie.  It doesn’t need to be shaken or stirred.  I don’t want a chaser or fruit juice softening the flavor.  Nor a fruit wedge floating in my bottle or a fancy aluminum can turning blue telling me when it’s cold. Why in the world would I “chase” my adjustment with something that will alter the experience?

I already have five senses and an innate intelligence that uses them for me.  I’m not much for imitation experiences or volunteering myself for the latest cyborg project.  Similar to a birthday suit, we provide Chiropractic “Au-natural”.
