I was listening to a friend tell a story about when he was in the Air Force. He was stationed in Las Vegas, out in the middle of the desert. He said that when you go for a drive in the desert all you see is brown and grey as far as the eye can see. That it’s called a desert because it is deserted. Every now and again something green will pop up and it is either a cactus or some rag weed.
But after a rain comes to the desert the next day the ground is filled with wild desert flowers that pop up and it becomes a beautiful place. He mused about using his vision to see the flowers when it’s dry rather than just his sight those times after it rains.
As I listened to him, I thought to myself, “Man, how many times do I just look at myself, look at my , a desert.” I asked myself, “where am I only seeing the brown and grey; where am I seeing rather than visioning?”
My vision is for the Farmington Valley to be the healthiest place in CT. I see folks who are free and clear, 
without interference in their nerve systems. I see people listening to that wee small voice within, telling them what they need to do to be healthy, vibrant people and then going out and doing what they are suggested to do. I see people living optimal lives, utilizing Chiropractic to keep clear and connected throughout their lives.
I see folks off of drugs and not needing surgery. I see folks who are out running, biking and playing outdoors and are patronizing the organic sections of food markets. I see them supporting our local farms and farmers markets and those markets providing us with food. I see clear and loving people helping each other out, erasing the grumpy New England stigma. I see houses of worship filled with worshipers, rather than religionists. I see God’s love being spread throughout the valley.
Today I will do my part to fulfill my vision for the Farmington Valley. Will you join me in this vision and help me?
