The following is a list of reasons why you and your family would benefit from having a Chiropractor on your health care team. As with all health care advice, we can not provide any promises or guarantees regarding your specific situation.
You have a spine and nerve system
People who have teeth have a Dentist. Chiropractors care for your spine and nerve system. Caring for your spine and nerve system allows folks to enjoy living life to its fullest potential. People who have a spine and nerve system have a Chiropractor.
Because you: Dance, kayak, canoe, mountain climb, play football, baseball, soccer, basketball, wrestle, horseback ride, workout, practice yoga, martial arts, run/jog, etc, etc, etc
All activities place stress on your spine. If you are active on a subluxated spine, you are putting stress on an already weakened spine and therefore not performing to your fullest potential. Get checked for a subluxation and improve your performance, stamina, and reaction time.
You’ve “been everywhere” and/or “seen every type of doctor” without help
To date, our record was that a patient saw 20 different specialists, including other Chiropractors, without help for her problem. She began care in our office and in time, cleared out and healed. Doctors are highly intelligent and caring folks, but we don’t know everything there is to know about everything. No medical doctors check for subluxations and fewer and fewer Chiropractors do in today’s world. We find them, fix them, and leave them alone. Along the way, we’ve been able to help the un-help-able.
Because you heard a “pop”, “click”, or “clunk” when your massage therapist/ physical therapist/ spouse/significant other pushed on your back
Each of the afore mentioned individuals care deeply about you and I don’t believe any would do something to cause you harm intentionally. Many aren’t aware (which is why I am addressing it here) that there is more to a Chiropractic adjustment than pushing on your back to get a “pop.” There is intention, direction, and purpose to a Chiropractic adjustment. In fact, if done wrong can make you worse than you are or create problems when you don’t have any. This is why Chiropractors need a doctorate and a license to provide care to others. It is why we provide a New Patient Orientation for all of our new patients to explain what we do, why we do it, how we do it and what you can expect as a result of our adjustments.
Because you heard “I learned this at a (weekend) seminar” from your massage therapist/Physical therapist/MD/DO/other health care specialist
Because you want to reduce or completely get off all of your medications
When compared to people who do not use Chiropractic care, those who use Chiropractic care spend 85% less on pharmaceuticals (Sarnot, JMPT, 2007). Many of our patients have been given clean bills of health and their MDs have removed them from all medications, including anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, asthma, blood pressure, and gastric acid medications just to name a few.
Because you want to prevent surgery (including back surgery)
The study above also stated that those who utilize Chiropractic care receive 62% fewer out patient surgeries. In our office we have helped prevent countless back surgeries. One patient began with us wanting to prevent a back surgery that was scheduled for three weeks after he began his Chiropractic care. Talk about being on the clock! Not only did he postpone his surgery, but his surgeon told him to keep seeing his Chiropractor because his back was healing. He never needed surgery.
Because you had/have a slip, fall, injury, concussion, neck pain, back pain, headache
These are all well documented in the media and literature. I myself began Chiropractic care and was cured of asthma and a stomach ulcer. We have helped others in the same manner. We have also helped people with anxiety, depression, getting pregnant, high blood pressure, vision, and hearing issues. We have helped children with bed wetting, scoliosis and ADD/ADHD all with Chiropractic adjustments. There is more, but the more I list, the more you’ll know, and while it’s wise to continue having an MD, the less you’ll need them, and they don’t like that.
Because you have __________ and you wonder if Chiropractic can help
Great question!! This is why we provide complimentary 10 minute consultations with the doctor. You can find out if we can help, if we have helped others in your situation before, and a range of parameters for care. If you choose Chiropractic as something you want to do, we’ll examine you and give you specific recommendations to help get you well.
