This past summer, I watched Amazon’s “The Boys”. It’s a “what if” story about superheroes being the bad guys. It’s different for me. I like my heroes to be heroes and villains to be villains. It’s definitely NOT for kids, and adults should think twice before watching it. It’s gritty, over-sexualized, and graphically violent. It also grants context about how we view our heroes. Whether those heroes are super, political, religious or otherwise. It’s highly perspective into the human psyche.
It’s ok for us to have our views and biases. So long as we recognize that another’s perspective is just as valid as our own. Otherwise let them go and let people live as they are. Stop judging others.
