Even the most noble person to have ever lived was betrayed. Betrayal is part of the process and must be factored into your vision. In fact, the person who betrays you may well feel betrayed by you. That is why forgiveness is also part of the plan. If we want forgiveness, we must forgive. Non-forgiveness leads to bitterness and contempt. Ownership of our crap is paramount. With ownership, we change.
I have listened to many an entrepreneur, visionary, and leader who talk about the one’s who betrayed them. They may get set back then catapult forward or be prepared for it and ride it out. It happens to the greatest of us and often comes from within.
My vision, is for those in conflict to resolve and restore relationship. Yes, trust will need to be rebuilt and may take longer than the first time around. But it takes a strong individual to admit their wrongs and seek forgiveness. Forgiveness leads to restoration.
